Overview
Deki Wiki 1.9.0, the Itasca release, is focused on improving the user experience. Much attention has been paid to the implementation of the new dialogs, which will help editors find relevant information much quicker. Various common UI views, such as the "Settings not found" error page, as well as the "You do not have access to view this page" have been polished.

Updating VM installs
If you made local modifications to PHP, please remember to revert them prior to upgrading! Remember that it's a good idea to backup your Deki Wiki before upgrading!
- If upgrading from a release before 1.8.3c, run /usr/bin/updateWiki.sh -d and then /usr/bin/updateWiki.sh
- If upgrading from 1.8.3c, run /usr/bin/updateWiki.sh

Some issues to be aware of
- This release had many UI changes - please be sure you do a hard refresh in your browser (Ctrl+F5), or clear your browser's cache if you run into any visual problems
- If your site will not load, please note that you no longer need $wgDreamServer in LocalSettings.php if you were working around bugs in earlier versions. Please remove this from LocalSettings if it exists.
- If the dialogs seem to not do anything, please make sure that the /@gui/ is added to the list of folders to be ignored by Deki Wiki in your apache config

- Trac extension - embed a bug list from a search query from Trac bug tracker into a wiki page
- Subversion (SVN) extension - embed the revision log from an SVN repository within Deki Wiki (with bug# and revision# linking)

Any update on Itasca? Deki Wiki is an awesome product and we're <i>this</i> close to signing a support contract. It satisfies ALL of our enumerated requirements, except for one. And it's that one that can be a deal killer...
It appears that this (and many other) issues have been resolved at 1.9.0. I look forward to giving it a spin and reconfirming that Deki Wiki is the right way to go.

Are these modifications made in PHP only? I made file modifications such as proxy settings and Explorer access via Samba. Must I undo these changes? I certainly hope these modifications persist...???
